The description below applies to both Private and Group Workshops.

Workshops are held on two consecutive 6-hour days.

Sessions can be scheduled from 9am to 3pm, or 2pm to 8pm on each day.

Here is a sample schedule:

Thursday: Travel Day

Friday Morning: Set up and prep

Friday Afternoon: Session 1

Saturday Morning: Session 2

Saturday Afternoon: Travel

PreWork: Teams participating in the workshop will be expected to complete an Organizational Life Map and watch the Foundational Actions videos. Participants should expect to invest 3-4 hours in PreWork.

Day One: Review your Life Map. Conduct a 25-point organizational assessment. Identify your preferred Process Pathway. Outline your 5 Essential Signposts - key project management milestones.

Day Two: Your team will design the transition strategy and begin building out your communication plan.

Within 3-weeks of the Workshop: Your team will meet to affirm your Top 4 and solidify your succession design

Follow-Up: The fee for the workshop includes four 90-minute virtual coaching sessions. The goal of these sessions is to:

1. Refine your succession plan design.

2. Complete the communication plan talking points and timeline

3. Help process issues related to implementation.

Private Workshops are booked a minimum of six weeks in advance.

Group Workshops are usually booked by a Hosting Organization* two to three months in advance. This allows time to coordinate schedules with participating organizations.

*The Hosting Organization (HO) is responsible for recruiting other organizations to participate in the Group WorkShop. Sherpa will bill the HO. The HO is responsible for collecting payment from each participating organization.

The primary consideration is a comfortable room with plenty of flat wall space for hanging flip charts.

Private Workshops - Wall space is needed for twelve (12) 25in X 30in flip charts. The area used must be free of windows, doors, shelving, and art.

Group Workshops: Each organization in attendance needs enough wall space to hang six (6) 25in X 30in flip charts. Each group's area must be free of windows, doors, shelving, and art.
